Kashmiri Musk

This maceration moves slowly, like two deep, old materials learning each other over time. It starts with that unmistakable Kashmiri musk warmth — soft, animalic, a little leathery, a little earthy, with that quiet, skin‑like intimacy natural musk always carries. It feels warm, close, almost comforting.

As it settles, the Indonesian sandalwood begins to rise through the musk. Creamy, buttery, gently sweet woods soften the animalic edges, giving the scent a smooth, balsamic glow. The two notes start to blur together, each shaping the other.

With time, they become inseparable. The musk gives the sandalwood a darker, warmer, more sensual depth, while the sandalwood polishes the musk into something rounder and more refined. Hints of aged wood, warm skin, soft spice and sweet resin linger close to the body, quiet but deeply present.

It’s traditional, slow, and beautifully unhurried — a maceration that reveals itself layer by layer rather than rushing to be noticed.
