A beautifully aged Taiwanese-distilled Nha Trang oil from 1991, produced by the distillers behind some of the legendary Nha Trang oils that later became coveted among collectors, including Nha Trang Ultima.

It took considerable persuasion to secure the last remaining quantity of this oil, a tiny surviving parcel from another era of Vietnamese agarwood.

The scent carries a striking red sweetness, wrapped around bitter medicinal woods and a cooling, gently numbing kinamic character. As it develops, it becomes remarkably evocative of old Nha Trang agarwood slowly burning over low heat, releasing sweet red resin, ancient wood and a deep incense warmth.

For collectors who remember the character of Nha Trang Ultima and the great Taiwanese Nha Trang distillations, this is a rare opportunity to experience that lineage through an oil distilled more than three decades ago.
